Wide Range Lift Trucks

Wide Range Lift Trucks was the first acquisition made by WRS in 2001 then a partnership of 3 engineers with a vast experience in the forklift maintenance business.

During the 5 years Wide Range Lift Trucks have been based on Alexandra dock firstly with Initial Metals Engineering then following the Management Buy out by WRS. There have been some changes although Maurice Coggin the founder partner of Wide Range Lift Trucks is still with us.

We now have a purpose built maintenance workshop equipped with a bespoke inspection and working pit designed for forklifts and commercial vehicles by Everquip Garage equipment based here in Hull, which is fully lit and has compressed air, power sockets and oil reclamation unit fitted.

Wide Range Lift Trucks provide service, maintenance and repairs to forklift equipment from the small pallet trucks you see in warehouses through to 200 tone mobile harbour cranes and everything in between.

Through Wide Range Lift Trucks WRS entered the market of supplying second-hand equipment world wide again anything from small forklift trucks through to mobile harbour cranes and all other associated equipment including roll trailers, goosenecks and Tugmasters etc.

This is now of course supported by being able to manufacture our own parts, hoses and hydraulic rams etc.
