Initial Metals Engineering

WRS Purchased the Hull depots of Initial Metals Engineering in September 2002 following the divestment of all the UK sites by the owners Andrew Weir Shipping.

The former Initial Metals workshop continues to carry out the maintenance and modification works on roll trailers for our main customer FINNLINES and Associated British Ports.

We have also diversified or indeed returned back to general fabrication and also have a fully equipment mobile welding workshop that adds value and supports our mobile forklift engineers. We have also gained customers like Simms Metals and Stoneledge Plant and transport where we again support their own engineers.

Following the sale of our container storage and handling business have moved our containers sales and modification work to Alexandra Dock so we can continue to supply and modify all sizes of storage and shipping containers as we have for the past 20 years.
