Initial Metals when owned by Andrew Weir Shipping and then WRS have supplied many parts of the world with containers for normal shipping requirements and specialist equipment for major project cargo’s for the over 30 years using equipment such as half heights, open top’s many different variations of flat rack equipment and when required we have designed and built units for specific logistic requirements.

We also supply standard storage containers of all sizes for both hire and sale for use on building sites, shopping centres or at any site where extra temporary space is required.

With the fabrication facilities we have at our Alexandra dock site we can also manufacture or modify units for almost any use such as site accommodation, offices, canteens, toilets and wash rooms and again we have standard specifications but customers can have what ever specification they need.

Any equipment required that we don’t have in stock at our Alexandra Dock site can also be sourced for customers through our network of dealers worldwide.
